WP1: Project management

Objectives
Carry out the everyday management of the project: (i) Establish a strong project management scheme; (ii) Establish communication and reporting channels to the EC; (iii) Achieve a common scientific and technical direction; (iv) Ensure successful achievement of objectives on time; (v) Establish an efficient electronic service for communications and document exchanging; (vi) Realise synergies amongst partners; (vii) Conduct quality assurance activities; (viii)
Ensure continuous monitoring of the project’s progress and timely initiation of corrective actions; (ix) Coordinate the organization and execution of the project meetings, and participation of the project in external or self-organized events; (x) Perform risk analysis; (xi) Ensure continuous legal management and addressing legal implications; and (xii) Carry out ethics management, ensuring ethical AI developments and ethical data management.
WP2: The Amalthea Baseline
Lead Beneficiary: ICCV
Duration: M1 – M8
Objectives
(i) To identify the role of AMALTHEA towardsthe vision of the next era of identification, comprehension and prevention of extremism and radicalisation activities focusing on the gender dynamic behind them, and the exact, updated needs of the LEAs and other stakeholders in the wider ecosystem that need to be addressed towards this direction; (ii) to identify critical updates in terms of available tools and technologies, taken place in the period between proposal submission and project’s initiation; (iii) to update and finetune the architecture of the AMALTHEA solution as well as the validation scenarios and the use cases; (iv) to set the societal basis towards the project’s human-centric developments, citizens’ engagement and societal impact assessments.
WP3: Understanding, communicating and sharing the gender dynamics behind radicalisation and extremism

Objectives
(i) To carry out in-depth analyses with respect to the sources of radicalisation and extremism in different societies; (ii) To deploy mechanisms that will facilitate aggregation of information and establishment of links with the RAN towards knowledge management and validation; (iii) To ensure knowledge modelling and deploy a scenario-building mechanism that will facilitate increased understanding of radicalisation and gender for different stakeholders; (iv) To deliver thorough analyses aiming to understand and verify the role of gender in radicalisation and extremism in different societal contexts; and (v) To deploy innovative tools for personalised sharing and comprehensive delivery of information.
WP4: Building collaboration and de-radicalisation enabling tools

Duration: M9 – M30
Objectives
i) Design and deliver an intelligent collaborative simulation platform for various stakeholders; (ii) Prepare and deliver multilingual, GenAI-fuelled training packages for LEAs and NGOs; (iii) Facilitate policy drafting mechanisms against radicalisation; (iv) Enable in-depth analyses of regulatory frameworks; (v) Deploy an intelligent recommendation engine combined with a decision support mechanism for LEAs; (vi) Ensure collaboration and integration with the EUROPOL innovation lab.
WP5: Validation of tools and services for LEAs and CSOs
Lead Beneficiary: CAPRI
Duration: M9 – M36
Objectives
(i) Deploy a transferable validation protocol for AMALTHEA, finetune the pilots’ scenarios and execution protocol, and ensure continuous monitoring of piloting activities; (ii) Ensure continuous ethical and legal monitoring of validation procedures and (iii) Thoroughly assess and evaluate the project’s offerings based on the outcomes of the pilots, exploiting agile approaches to ensure continuous improvement of services.
WP6: AMALTHEA outreach: Dissemination, Communication and Pathway towards the full exploitation by LEAs
Lead Beneficiary: CONV
Duration: M1 – M36
Objectives
(i) Develop the project’s visual identity, including conventional information material, tools (project website, social media) and audio-visual material (e.g., videos); (ii) Start raising awareness about the project concept, developments and findings to all key actors (Technology providers, LEAs, academics, policy makers, general public) by participating and organising outreach activities, international events (e.g., conferences and seminars) and INFO days; (iii) Develop the dissemination and communication strategy of the project, including social presence, participation in EU events,
collaboration with other related projects, and implement it; (iv) Refine and continuously update the AMALTHEA exploitation path; (v) Create a marketing strategy that focuses on commercialization including the products costs (TCO), benefits (TBO), and return on invest and (vi) set the basis towards effective standardization activities.
WP7: Ethics requirements
